Waiver
Please carefully read through the waivers.
By proceeding to book a reservation, you and all parties in your group agree to the terms and conditions outlined below, regardless of who made the booking or whose name is signed on the form.
General Waiver
Rescheduling: If you wish to reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. While the original fee remains non-refundable, we will do our best to accommodate a new reservation date based on our availability.
Late Arrivals: Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late may risk losing their reservation. We recommend arriving a few minutes early to ensure a smooth experience.
Special Requirements: If you have any dietary restrictions, accessibility requirements, or other specific needs, please let us know in advance. We aim to make every guest’s experience enjoyable.
Etiquette: Our café is home to several cats and dogs. Please treat them with kindness and respect. Any disruptive or harmful behavior may result in your party being asked to leave without a refund.
Children: Children are welcome at Wonder Pet Café, but they must be supervised at all times to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests and animals. Please note that minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by at least one parent
or guardian.
By making a reservation with Wonder Pet Café, you agree to the terms stated above. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
I hereby certify that I am over eighteen (12) years of age and that I am competent and of sound mind at the time of signing this Waiver and Release of Liability and Indemnification Agreement (hereinafter the “Release”).
Wonder Pet Café allows customers to interact with cats and/or dogs available on the premises. I understand that staff may not accompany me at all times, but they will be present
to monitor and assist as needed.
I agree not to engage in any activity that may harm or injure the cats, dogs, or any other animals in any way.
I acknowledge and assume all risks involved in interacting with cats and/or dogs, including but not limited to personal injury, death, or property damage.
I understand that Wonder Pet Café’s insurance may not cover such activities, and I waive any right to file a claim against it.
I agree to follow all rules and regulations. If I fail to do so, Wonder Pet Café may terminate my participation without refund.
I certify that I have no physical or mental condition, including allergies, that would negatively affect my ability to interact safely with the animals.
I voluntarily release, discharge, and agree to indemnify Wonder Pet Café, its staff, agents, and partners from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of my participation. If I initiate any claim, I agree to pay all legal fees and costs incurred by Wonder Pet Café and its affiliates.
Even in the case of an alleged intentional or negligent act by me, I agree to defend and indemnify Wonder Pet Café.
This agreement shall be binding upon my heirs, executors, and legal representatives.
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. If any part is found invalid, the rest shall remain in full effect.
Defamation and False Information Clause:
Any false statements, malicious rumors, defamatory remarks, or dissemination of misleading or untrue information concerning Wonder Pet Café, its staff, volunteers, partners, animals, or services—whether through social media, online platforms, or other public channels—will be considered a serious violation. Wonder Pet Café reserves the right to pursue all legal remedies available, including but not limited to civil and/or criminal prosecution, claims for reputational and financial damages, and reimbursement of legal fees.
BY PROCEEDING TO BOOK A RESERVATION, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD IT, HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEEK LEGAL ADVICE, AND FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY AGREE TO ITS TERMS. WITHOUT SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT, I UNDERSTAND I WOULD NOT BE PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY ACTIVITIES AT WONDER PET CAFÉ.
Minors Waiver
I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor named below. I hereby certify that I am competent and of sound mind at the time of executing this Waiver and Release of Liability and Indemnification Agreement (hereinafter “Release”), and I agree to the following terms on behalf of the minor: Wonder Pet Café provides access to cats, dogs, and other live animals for guests to interact with. In consideration of the payment of applicable fees and my agreement to the terms of this Release, Wonder Pet Café agrees to allow the minor to participate in these activities. I, on behalf of the minor, acknowledge that these interactions may not be fully supervised.
While Wonder Pet Café staff will remain on the premises to monitor all participants and offer assistance or guidance when needed, they will not be with the minor at all times. The minor agrees not to engage in any behavior that may injure or harm any animals in any way. I am aware of and fully understand the inherent risks involved in interacting with live animals, including but not limited to the risk of injury, illness, property damage, or even death to the minor, to others, or to property. I further acknowledge that these activities may not be covered under Wonder Pet Café’s insurance policy, and participants may have no right to file a claim against the café’s insurer. I voluntarily assume, on behalf of the minor, full responsibility for any and all risks arising from their participation in activities at Wonder Pet Café.
I, on behalf of the minor, agree to comply with all rules and safety regulations set forth by Wonder Pet Café. If either I or the minor is unwilling or unable to comply with the rules, Wonder Pet Café reserves the right to terminate participation without refund. The minor has no physical, mental, or emotional conditions, including allergies, that would impair their ability to safely and appropriately interact with animals. I understand and agree that Wonder Pet Café reserves the right to remove the minor from the premises at any time, for any reason, at the café’s sole discretion. On behalf of the minor, I hereby release, discharge, hold harmless, and agree to indemnify Wonder Pet Café, its owners, agents, employees, rescue partners, and independent contractors, as well as their insurers, successors, assigns, and legal representatives, from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from or related to the minor’s participation in activities at Wonder Pet Café. This includes injuries, death, or property damage caused by (i) other guests, (ii) employees or agents of Wonder Pet Café, or (iii) any other person on the premises, whether resulting from intentional or negligent acts.
Furthermore, I agree, on behalf of the minor, to reimburse Wonder Pet Café and its affiliates for any legal fees and costs incurred in defense of any action brought by or on behalf of the minor that falls within the scope of this Release. I agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Wonder Pet Café, its owners, agents, rescue partners, and independent contractors from any liability or claims for injury, death, or damages to any person or property resulting from the minor’s presence or actions on the premises, whether or not such claims have legal merit.
This Release shall be binding upon myself, the minor, our heirs, executors, assigns, and legal representatives.
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from this Release shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario. If any provision of this Release is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.
BY PROCEEDING TO BOOK A RESERVATION, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THIS AGREEMENT, THAT I AM AUTHORIZED TO SIGN ON BEHALF OF THE MINOR, AND THAT I FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS. I FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE THAT, BUT FOR MY EXECUTION OF THIS AGREEMENT, WONDER PET CAFÉ WOULD NOT ALLOW THE MINOR TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY ACTIVITIES.
